The application was ready in a few hours. My decisions regarding the UX:

• A standard header + two-panel design. No footer.
• All copyright and intro stuff goes in the colophon.
• The contextual In this series panel floats on the right.
• The Table of Contents panel in projects floats on the right.
• The contextual Further reading panel floats below these two.
• The side panel flows below the main one on narrow screens.
• Prev/next links and tags occupy the bottom part of a log.
• Global navigation sits just below the page header.
• /logs is a synonym for the latest year: /logs/2026. The annual page uses reverse chronology to list the logs.
• Site pages already support templates such as {{logs:10}} and {{projects:active}}. But the rendering was needlessly dense and ugly. I cleaned that up.
